Name:  Anthony Mordini

Class year:  2027

Majors:  Biology, pre-medicine

Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because of the small class size and the winning basketball culture.

Why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because I have always been fascinated by the human body and it would be a dream come true to be able to help people while working a job in the medical field.

Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
I like to say a prayer for my teammates and coaches during the national anthem before every game.

Why did you choose your sport?
I chose basketball because growing up I would play with my friends in the driveway for hours on end and I love to compete.

Why do you like your sport?
I like basketball because of the opportunity to work as a team to accomplish a common goal.  It gives me the opportunity to grow and learn from my mistakes while also having fun.

What are your strengths as an athlete (as an individual)?
My strengths are my work ethic and my ability to lift up those around me when they are down.

What is your number one goal, personal or team, for this season?
My goal is to win a championship.

What sport other than your own would you like to try?
I would like to try running the 800-meter run in track & field.

Which reality show would you like to star on and why?
"Hell’s Kitchen" because I think I could really chef it up if I had the chance.

What is your favorite season and why?
My favorite season is winter because I love the way the cold feels when I take a deep breath and of course, it's basketball season.

What is your favorite book and why?
My favorite book has to be any of the "Harry Potter" series because they are a light read and they showcase many hidden lessons.
