Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
It has a good zoology and track program and nice facilities.
Why did you choose your major?
I took a zoology class in high school and always loved animals.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
Sports for most of my life is the primary reason I wanted to go to college.
Why did you choose your event/position?
I am good at most things but not the best at anything, and I love doing most events, so the decathlon was an easy choice for me.
What are your strengths as an athlete (as an individual)?
I'm always in it for the team, I am always willing to do an extra event, and I push myself as hard as I can in workouts.
What is your number one goal, personal or team, for this season?
I want to win conference in the decathlon, and for the team I want us to place in the top three.
Which is your favorite event in a combined-events meet? Which event provides you the biggest challenge?
My favorite event is either the javelin throw or the 110-meter high hurdles. My best event is probably the 400-meter dash, and the biggest struggle is probably the pole vault because I just learned how to do it last year.
What is your favorite book and why?
...probably "The Silmarillion" by J.R.R. Tolkien
