CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Tuesday morning, the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced its Athlete of the Week awards for the past week of competition. Representing Ohio Wesleyan University was junior Zoe Ward from women's track & field. This is the second award for Ward this year – having won once in the fall for cross country – and the second for women's track & field this season.

Ward took the distance distinction of the award with her mile run performance at the Steemer Showcase this past Saturday. Ward was the highest NCAC finisher, placing fifth with a time of 5:03.43 and earning the Bishops four points in the team standings.

Ward and the Battling Bishops will be back in action this Friday and Saturday at the Jud Logan Open hosted by Ashland.

Ward is the 15th NCAC Athlete of the Week selection for Ohio Wesleyan this academic year.
