Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Evan Lee (Toledo/St. Johns) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 11, it was announced by the NCAC.
Lee, a forward on the Ohio Wesleyan men's soccer team, was named Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
Lee scored both Ohio Wesleyan goals and converted a timely penalty kick as the Bishops advanced on penalty kicks after a 2-2 tie with DePauw in a semifinal matchup of the NCAC tournament. After the contest went to penalty kicks, Lee stepped to the spot with Ohio Wesleyan trailing, 5-4, in the shootout and converted his kick to even the shootout at 5-5. Ohio Wesleyan would convert its next kick and advance by a count of 6-5.
