Ohio Wesleyan University junior Sarah Fowler (Mount Vernon/Fredericktown) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 21, it was announced by the NCAC.

Fowler, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's cross country team, was named Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Fowler finished fourth among individuals to lead Ohio Wesleyan at the Otterbein Invitational on Saturday, completing the 6000-meter course in 22:53.0.  Ohio Wesleyan finished in third place in the team standings.
