Ohio Wesleyan University junior Sarah Fowler (Mount Vernon/Fredericktown) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 15, it was announced by the NCAC.

Fowler, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Distance Runner of the Week.

Fowler won the 3000-meter run in 10:12.47 at the All-Ohio Division III championship meet on Saturday.  She also garnered All-Ohio honors by helping the Bishop distance medley relay team to a second-place finish.  Ohio Wesleyan finished third in the team standings.
