Ohio Wesleyan University junior Alexis Roberts (Louisville, Ky./Christian Academy) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 2, it was announced by the NCAC.
Roberts, a forward on the Ohio Wesleyan field hockey team, was named Field Hockey Player of the Week.
Roberts scored 2 goals as the Battling Bishops opened the week with a 3-0 win over Oberlin on Tuesday. She followed by scoring the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Sewanee on Saturday, and closed out the week by putting the Bishops on the scoreboard in a 3-1 win over Transylvania on Sunday. On the week, Roberts rang up 4 goals to help Ohio Wesleyan record 3 consecutive wins.
