Ohio Wesleyan University senior Hannah Benzing (Findlay/Liberty Benton) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 18, it was announced by the NCAC.
Benzing, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.
Benzing posted Ohio Wesleyan's best individual finish at the Shamrock Invitational, hosted by Coastal Carolina University. Amidst a field comprised mostly of Division I, Division II, and NAIA institutions, Benzing finished fourth in the hammer with a throw of 158-4 and added a 12th-place finish in the discus with a throw of 134-10.
