Ohio Wesleyan Athletics Hall of Fame
Bert Reuss '64 earned 4 letters in track. An outstanding discus champion, he received the track team's Most Valuable Player Award his sophomore, junior, and senior years. A 3-time winner of the discus in the Ohio Athletic Conference championship meets, Reuss went on to win the discus in the NCAA Mideast Regional 3 times as well. In addition, Reuss was a 2-time winner of the discus at the All-Ohio track championships. Reuss broke Ohio Wesleyan and Selby Stadium records and went on to set both the OAC and the All-Ohio discus records his junior year. Also, during his junior year Reuss was selected to the All-American College track and field team. Reuss served as team captain his senior year.
