Ohio Wesleyan Athletics Hall of Fame
Louise Hendershott '91 transferred to Ohio Wesleyan midway through her sophomore year and capped a 2-year field hockey career with first-team College Field Hockey Coaches Association All-America honors. A 2-time first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference selection, she ranked third in the NCAC in scoring as a senior with 12 goals and 8 assists for 32 points, tying for the team lead. As a junior, she ranked second on the team and fourth in the NCAC in scoring with 16 goals and 7 assists for 39 points. During her 2 years, the Bishops compiled a 32-7 record (23-1 NCAC), won 2 NCAC titles and advanced to the NCAA Division III playoffs twice.
