Ohio Wesleyan Athletics Hall of Fame
Lelan Rogers coached men's lacrosse from 1991-99. During his 9 seasons, the Bishops went 109-33 (.768), including a record of 44-4 (.917) in North Coast Athletic Conference competition, won 6 NCAC championships, and appeared in the NCAA Division III tournament 7 times. His teams advanced to the NCAA Division III championship game once and reached the national semifinals 6 times. The 1993 Bishops went 12-2, won the MLA and NCAC championships, and advanced to the national championship game. The 1995-98 teams each won 13 or more games and advanced to the national III semifinals. During his 9 years, Ohio Wesleyan had 47 players receive All-America honors, 4 named Division III position player of the year, and 2 named Division III Player of the Year. He was named NCAC Coach of the Year 4 times.
