Steve Chase '72 earned 3 letters in football and 4 letters in baseball.  As a junior, he ranked seventh in NCAA Division III in passing.  As a senior, he co-captained the Bishops' Ohio Athletic Conference championship football team and was named its Most Valuable Player.  He also was a first-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection and was honored with the Mike Gregory Award as the OAC's best offensive back. In baseball, Chase batted .333 as a senior and 2 two grand slam home runs in a single game.
