Tom Wenzlau '50 earned 4 letters in football, 3 in basketball, and one in track.  Captain of the football team for its 1949 game against Case Western Reserve, Wenzlau earned a reputation as one of Ohio Wesleyan's most dependable pass receivers and kickers.  Wenzalu set the OWU record for single-game punting average with 46.3 yards, the season record for punting average with 38.5 yards, and the career record for punting average with 35.6 yards.
