Ohio Wesleyan Athletics Hall of Fame
Galen Eckland ’93 was a 2-time All-America golfer. He finished in a 15th-place tie at the NCAA Division III tournament as a senior, good for third-team All-America honors, as the Bishops finished second in the nation. He was a first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honoree that year after finishing in a third-place tie in the NCAC tournament. As a junior, he was a second-team All-NCAC pick with an eighth-place tie at the conference tournament. He was a third-team All-American as a sophomore with a 17th-place tie at 307 at the NCAA tournament, helping OWU to a third-place national finish after a fourth-place team finish at the NCAC tourney, where he earned second-team all-league laurels with a 10th-place tie.
