Ohio Wesleyan Athletics Hall of Fame
Jim Saldamarco '69 was a 4-year letterman and 3-year team captain in golf. As a freshman, he led the team with an 80 average as the Bishops finished 11th in the Ohio Athletic Conference. He improved to 77.5 as the team moved to eighth the following season, and his junior year, he improved to a 76 average and a fifth-place individual finish at the OAC tournament, helping the Bishops place third in the team standings. As a senior, he helped Ohio Wesleyan win the OAC championship and move on to the NCAA College Division tournament, where he led the team with a 319.
