Hank Newton '71 was a 3-time all-conference selection as an offensive lineman in football.  He was a 3-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference choice, helping clear the path for 2 OAC rushing champions.  The Bishops compiled a 29-6-1 record during Newton's 4 seasons, winning 2 league championships and playing in the 1971 Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl.
