Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

John Morris '70 was a standout wrestler.  As a senior, he won the Ohio Athletic Conference heavyweight championship after compiling a regular-season record of 11-0-1, then went on to represent Ohio Wesleyan at the NCAA College Division tournament.  He also was named team captain and Most Valuable Player.  As a junior, he wrestled at 190 pounds, went 10-1, and reached the semifinals of the OAC tournament.  He was the Bishops' Most Improved Player as a sophomore, his first season of collegiate wrestling.
