Tom McNamara ’87 was an All-America midfielder in soccer who set Ohio Wesleyan and North Coast Athletic Conference records with 17 assists as a senior.  During his 4 seasons, the Bishops compiled a record of 66-16-3, and won 2 NCAC championships and 2 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional titles.
